In which the Louvre refuses to go halfway, on anything

So today, Jenna and I trekked to the Louvre (and after yesterday's Eiffel tower walk, our feet are withdrawing their love). Kristina made many outrageous buys in the chic shopping areas, and was much more studious than us..

Upon locating the Louvre, we were beginning to get the idea that this was one of those no-nonsense galleries..

Inside, we find where all the lost noses end up..

We also delight in the various cupids and ladies riding boats.

And, the occasional times when our eyes stray upwards, we are reminded that this is the Louvre.

A non-mannequin Bonaparte and the well-guarded Mona Lisa were also sighted.

And Jenna tragically initiates a staring contest with a statue..

Who has no eyes.

We also enjoy the public service announcements in Paris.

P.s- duty free beverages to commenter number 4 on the mystery post; thanks Marco!
