j'adore Parie!

We have landed safely in Paris! And had a fun, only slightly arduous time commuting via the subway from Charles De Gaulle airport to our lovely apartment in Le Marais. (read: 77lbs worth of luggage per person, plus/minus recent back injuries, plus/minus many flights of stairs due to Paris' apparent lack of elevators and escalators for every situation = a fun trip. Actually, some nice civilians helped us carry our suitcases up the stairs).

After getting safely to our ground floor abode and dumping our respective bags, we headed next door to a creperie for some emmental-oeuf-thon crepes (and plain fromage for Krista, though the fromage crepe was ginormously rich and anything but plain). This was followed by some gawking at the neighbourhood scenery, a nap, and waking up to start this blog.
